RFID Season Pass Pick-up FAQs

IF YOU PURCHASED YOUR SEASON PASS BEFORE NOV.12TH, BEFORE THE LAUNCH OF OUR NEW E-STORE, YOU NEED TO SET UP A NEW BV AXESS ACCOUNT. 

IF YOU SET UP AN ACCOUNT AFTER NOV.12TH, WHEN OUR NEW E-STORE WENT LIVE, YOU’RE ALL SET!

How do I set up a new BV Axess account? 

Step 1.) Head to  https://bearvalley.axess.shop/ 

Step 2.) Click “Log In” on the upper right hand corner.

Step 3.) Click “Register”, enter all your information.

Step 4.) It will redirect you to the main page, on the upper right hand corner you will see “Hi, (your name). Click your name. 

Step 5.) Click Settings, upload your photo. 

Step 6.) Your new BV Axess account is ready and you’re all set to pick up your season pass on Nov.25th! 

Why do I need to create a new BV account? 

Because we are launching a brand new system, by providing us all your information AHEAD of Opening Weekend, it will speed up your (and everyone else’s) pick up process. You’ll head up to our guest services ticket counter, provide your name, and your pass will be printed! 

What will happen if I don’t have my new account set up by opening day?

If you don’t set up a new account, we will still be able to assist you at the counter, it will just be a slower pick up process – you will have to provide our guest services staff members with all your information. 

Do each of my family members have to create their own account?

Once you’ve created your new account, you can add your family members to your account by;

Clicking “Hi, (your name)” on the upper right hand corner. One of the drop down menu options will be “Add and Edit Family Members”. 

I made a new account but it’s not showing the passes I purchased earlier this year?

DON’T PANIC! We have a record of your previously purchased pass.

Your passes won’t appear in your new BV Axess account until they are printed by guest services.

A huge thank you doesn’t begin to express our appreciation for your patience and positive vibes over the last several months as Bear Valley has worked on making the switch to our new RFID lift access system, powered by Axess. This is a huge step forward in Bear Valley’s commitment to improving your guest experience by simplifying your purchasing process with our new eStore, streamlining your arrival with our self-service ticket & pass pick up kiosks and more than doubling the size and capacity of our Guest Services office to assist you with anything else you may need for your day on the slopes.

All of that is pretty cool and exciting. But here’s the real kicker- these RFID cards that your season passes and lift tickets will be loaded onto… they are all RELOADABLE! What does that mean? We’re glad you asked. Beginning this season, once you pick up your new season pass card (or even purchase a lift ticket!), you will never have to wait in line to pick up your season passes and lift tickets again. As long as you hold onto that RFID enabled card, you will be able to simply visit bearvalley.com and renew and reload the season pass or lift ticket card you already have! 

The new Bear Valley eStore is now live for season pass purchases. Lift tickets and lessons will be available in the coming days as well. To thank those of you that have patiently struggled with the downtime of our eStore this off-season, we have extended our summer pricing for season passes through November 30th . Prices will increase on December 1st so now is the time to lock in your savings on a 22/23 Bear Valley Season Pass!

Your snow dances seem to be working! Keep it up and we’ll see you out on the slopes this winter at Bear Valley!
