Good morning from Bear Valley! We’re excited to be back open today, and the snow just keeps coming. We received 2 more inches yesterday, followed by another 5 inches overnight, bringing our season total to 57 inches. Today’s forecast calls for 11" to 17" of new snow accumulation and we are ready for it!

New Terrain Park Features
Our Terrain Park Crew has been hard at work, setting up new features and refreshing older ones for this weekend. Here’s what’s new:
Moke Top Park: A small jump, up-down rail, and flat rail.
Lodge Run Park: A steel box, flat tube, and down rail.
Festive Fun This Weekend
Santa & Mrs. Claus: Santa will be in the sunroom from 11am - 2pm!
Maker’s Market: From 2 PM – 6 PM at the Bear Valley Lodge, shop local vendors and enjoy live music in a festive atmosphere.

First Teams Weekend Kicks Off Today
To make your first day with the Bear Valley Team as smooth as possible, plan ahead and arrive extra early. This will give you time to handle any unforeseen delays or issues and ensure a great start to the season.
Gear Checklist
Before you leave, double-check your athlete’s equipment to make sure everything is ready:
Boots: Ensure they fit properly.
Bindings: Adjust for new boots and set for changes in skill level or weight.
Helmet: Ensure a snug and secure fit.
Gloves or Mittens: Check that they fit and are warm enough.
Goggles and Sunglasses: Bring both to be prepared for varying light conditions.
Sunscreen: Don’t forget to pack it for sun protection at high altitudes.
Pre-Arrival Preparations
Check BYGA to confirm your athlete’s team assignment.
Monitor the weather and allow extra travel time if storms or slow road conditions are expected.
On Arrival
Plan to arrive early to allow enough time to:
Pick up your passes (Pro Tip: If possible, pick them up before the first day to avoid lines). The Bear Valley Mountain Resort Guest Services office is open midweek Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm for pass pickups and purchase assistance.
Get your athlete dressed and ready to go.
