There is a two-night minimum stay for Holiday and Weekends.
One-night stays are available weekdays [Non-Holidays]. Available online!

Your guaranteed reservation required the first night's room rate plus 10% tax as a deposit for each room when booked. Reservations made after October 1st, 2022 will have a $20.00 per room nightly resort fee which includes year -round benefits and seasonal services previously charged for and provides benefits to each registered guest in your room.

Please Note: Any reservations booked over NY's Eve; December 31st will require an additional fee for our NY's Eve Party. This requirement is for everyone staying at the lodge whether or not you attend the festivities. Please be aware there will be live music and the facility will be rocking at a high level of sound. The charge will be added to your guest folio as follows; adults $25 and children 12 and under $15.

Cancellations for Standard Weekday and Weekend Bookings: 7 days prior to your arrival date. For Winter Holiday Peak Bookings: 14 days prior to your arrival date. Winter Holiday Peak Dates are considered December 22nd, 2023 through January 6th, 2024, January 12th, 2024 through January 14th, 2024, and February 16th, 2024 through February 25th, 2024.

IF you cancel your reservation prior to the Cancellation Period indicated above, we will refund your first night’s room deposit, less a $15.00 Cancellation Processing Fee per room booked. Cancelling within the Cancellation Period for any reservations, is a forfeiture of your first night's deposit for each room reserved. NOTE: Cancellations or "No Show" due to forces of nature and/or road closures or pandemics are not refundable.

Bear Valley Lodge Four Legged Rules

We look forward to providing a memorable stay for you and your pet, however, to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of our guests, we ask that you observe a few policies during your visit. Please read the following to familiarize yourself with our pet policy:

• Dogs are the only permitted pets
• We welcome all well-mannered and fully trained dogs
• Our pet-friendly rooms are limited 
• Weight restrictions apply to our pet policy up to 2 dogs if each weighs less than 50lbs, dogs larger than 50lbs - one per room
• Additional fees may apply if the dog causes any damage or disturbances in the room or hotel
• Dogs cannot be left alone in the room
• Owners MUST bring dog bedding – no pets on beds or furniture
•  Due to extensive cleaning after pet inhibits a room, we will charge a non-refundable cleaning fee of $25 per night to your guest room account. (This fee is waived for all service pets).
• For the safety and comfort of your pet and hotel staff, including housekeeping, staff will enter your room only if: (a) your pet is not present, or (b) you are present and can monitor your pet, or (c) your pet is crated.

The $20 per room nightly resort amenity fee includes year-round benefits and seasonal services previously charged for and provides benefits to each registered guest in your room.

Bear Valley Lodge Pool Rules 2024

Pool Hours:
Monday – Thursday 10:30am – 6:00pm, Friday - Sunday 10:00am-6:30pm,

Proper ID is required to receive a code from front desk. Periodic monitoring will occur to ensure the pool is being used by eligible members.

Large groups must be scheduled through Lodge personnel
All eligible members must sign a liability release prior to receiving a code to access pool.

All organized groups that are responsible for minors must provide copies of signed liability releases for minors to swim and will be charged $5 per guest to the pool area.

Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into pool area unless purchased at our restaurants, Plastic Only.

Smoking is not permitted in the pool area.

Possession or use of illegal substances is not allowed or tolerated.

The California State Health and Safety Code requires that an adult at least 18 years old must accompany children unable to swim and children under 14 years of age. Parents are responsible for the behavior and safety of their children at all times.

No Glass containers of any kind are allowed in the pool area.

Food or drinks may be consumed at tables, but at no time can food or drinks be consumed in the pool.

Proper swimming attire is required.

Pool toys should be small and not disrupt other swimmers, large toys will be removed when it has been determined it is an unsafe or undesirable swimming condition for others.

No running, pushing, diving or horseplay is allowed in or around the pool.
Infants and children who are not completely potty trained MUST wear tight fitting swim pants in the pool.

All personal music devices must be used with ear buds.

Guests may not bring pets into the pool area.

No personal barbeques, group picnics or catered food for groups will be allowed at the pool area (please talk to Lodge personnel to arrange food and beverages).

For certain Special events the pool facility may be closed for private parties.

Pool Membership may be purchased for the season or monthly. Individual membership is $99 per month or $149.00 for the season. Family membership (two or more) is $149.00 per month or $199.00 for the season. Passes can be purchased at the front desk. Adults are $12/day, children 12 and under $5/day. 2 and under free.
