Bear Valley has offered excellent race camps since 1992 and has produced top amateur and pro athletes in both freestyle and race events. Several of Bear Valley's athletes have qualified for Junior Olympics in 2008, and the Bear Valley Team has won the Central Sierra Series for the third straight year. The resort offers a varied terrain to condition all racing levels.
Whether you are looking to improve your race skills, fine tune your technique or are interested in sliding boxes and rails, Bear Valley's weekend race and freeride camp has a program for you. Bear Valley's race camp is open to all ages and ability levels from entry level (first time racers and park riders) to experienced racers and riders.
Make new friends, learn new skills, gain confidence, and have the time of your life. There are 3 different camps to choose from, open to all ages with intermediate to advanced skill levels.
Each participant will be required to have complete ski/snowboard equipment, sunscreen, sunglasses, goggles helmet, running shoes, shorts, warm-ups/jacket. Rollerblades and/or mountain bikes are welcome.
Cost: $250 per person. Discounts are available for families with 2 or more campers.
