International Housing @ Bear Valley Mountain ResortBear Valley Mountain Resort offers housing to our international employees.
Housing is available to rent in a number of homes that the company leases for this purpose. The houses sleep six to twelve employees with at least two people per room. All rental houses are lightly furnished; tenants are responsible for providing their own linens and other personal amenities. Housing in Bear Valley Village is limited so housing is spread out along Highway 4 between Bear Valley and the town of Arnold (approximately 25mi/40km west of the resort). All housing is within walking distance of employee shuttle stops to facilitate transportation to and from work.
Rent is $200 per pay period (which is every two weeks). Rental fees include utilities, which are water, electricity, propane, firewood and local phone (long distance is at individual’s expense). If you decide to stay in employee housing, you will have to pay a deposit of $200.00 prior to your arrival. This deposit will not be returned until after the home is completely empty of tenants and any cleaning or repairs are complete.
Placement is based on seniority and potential compatibility. Bear Valley has sole discretion in placing international employees in rental houses. Conduct rules outlined in the housing agreement must be followed; failure to abide by these rules will result in eviction and possible termination of employment.
